Installation Methods for Pebble Paving

River pebbles are used in various types of exterior paving, primarily as a decorative element rather than the main walking surface due to their irregularity and relative discomfort. Here are the steps for laying paving pebbles:

Preparing the Bedding:

• Create a bed of sand and dry-mixed cement. This layer serves as a stable base for the pebbles.

Placing the Pebbles:

• Arrange the pebbles on the sand and cement mixture, trying to create an aesthetically pleasing and homogeneous pattern.

Moistening and Vibration:

• Moisten the pebbles and use a vibratory plate to ensure they are well fixed in the bedding. This process helps to stabilize the pebbles and reduce any voids.

Grouting

• Perform grouting with a mixture of sand and cement in the appropriate doses, filling the spaces between the pebbles to ensure their fixing and stability.
